MY TRIP TO TAMHINI GHATS

TRIP TO TAMHINI GHATS, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

It was Sunday morning and I was about to go for an Adventure trail to Tamhini Ghats. This trip was arranged by Muktangan  exploratory science centre, Pune in relation with Dhavalgiri adventures.

       

MUKTANGAN EXPLORATORY SCIENCE CENTRE, PUNE

                                                                                                                    I reached at Muktangan at 6:30 a.m as per the reporting time. Std 5,6,7 and 8 were going to come for this Adventure trail. we were divided into six groups - A,B,C,D,E and F. I was in the B group. Our teachers of Muktangan were accompanying us. we entered in the bus and started our journey at 8:30 in the morning. After half an our we stopped to have our breakfast, they had given us Poha to eat, I finished my breakfast as soon as possible and went outside the restaurant to roam around, around the restaurant their was a lot of greenery and a variety of Flowers. soon, all the six groups came out and we continued our journey. In the bus, we were playing atlas, but after some time they started playing antakshari and I started looking outside as I do not like music at all. As I was looking outside, I saw there many farms full with greenery and different types of flowers and domestic animals like buffaloes and cows. One of the cow was injured and the farmer was not bothered at all, I felt very sad for that cow. We went further and I saw that there was a plateau and at the end I saw there was village. went further and I saw a huge lake called as Mulshi lake, it was very huge

We went further and reached Tamhini Ghats, the road was narrow so we went further with a small bus and reached Vinzai temple and from there we started our walking journey.

We started our main journey through a village and then went to a mountain range. It was very slippery while walking and we all were falling many a times. Our group leaders were helping us whenever it was slippery rock or place. After facing many difficulties, we reached at our first break time. Their the head person told us that we had only finished 1/10 of our journey. We all got shocked to hear this, all of us were very tired after walking. During the break the head person told us that we were standing on a plateau, I looked around, it was very beautiful and full of greenery. The break was over and we continued our journey. We went through a wet muddy patch, most of us fell there. Further we saw a dam continued from the Mulshi lake called as Mulshi dam.

After that we went to another plateau, there we were about to take a group photo, suddenly a boy found a crab, one of the sir was holding the crab. All of us were shocked. After that we took a group photo and went further. We reached a stream, our shoes had became wet after going through that stream and some strange voice were coming while walking. We went ahead and saw a place full full of greenery. A boy found a even bigger crab than before. Our sir picked it up as well. We went ahead and saw another stream, the water was reaching till our knees while crossing it and the water was very cold and moreover the waterfall was very close to it, but we did not went near the water fall, the head person told us that we will go their while the return journey. So we went ahead it was again a small stream. further, their was again a slippery way and we again went to a place full of greenery. There was tremendous greenery here.

  

                                          

                              

GREENERY OF TAMHINI GHATS

 We went ahead and entered in a forest called as the Bamboo forest, it looked like wild animals would come and just grab us all, but their did not lived any wild animals, but their were a lot of crabs, I did not saw any but their could be snakes. It looked dangerous.

We went ahead and stopped for rest of the people to come as we 8 to 9 students and one of the group leader was ahead of all. All the others came after some time and we went ahead and finally after facing many difficulties we were at the top. It was complete whited out due to clouds. We had our lunch and stayed their for some time. It was a really cold place and moreover we all were very wet due to the rain, but still we all were having fun. We had started our walking journey at 10:45 a.m and reached at the top approximately at 3 p.m and I started seeing the views around and it was very blur but it was place filled with greenery.

It was finally time to go down. We went through the same road and reached to the stream near the waterfall and started playing, we all were enjoying throwing water on each other. Every one had became completely wet and the water was reaching till our thighs, many boys were lying in the water. We all had a lot of fun.

We went further by the same road and after a journey of approximately three hours,we reached at the Vinzai temple. The small bus took us through the narrow street and went inside our big bus. we headed back to Muktangan. It was a really amazing journey. I would really like to visit there again. I think that all must visit to Tamhini ghats atleast once in a life time. I really enjoyed this journey a lot.  

A NEW GAME

It was thursday evening and I was playing with my friend. Three of our other friends were playing football.I don't know exactly what happen between them but two of our friends started running from the third friend. We both also joined the two of them in running. Our third friend was throwing stones on us, I don't know why and I could not ask my other two friends because we all were running, we somehow entered our building hiding from him and went into the fire exit. There we asked our friends what had happen, they told us that one of them had kicked the ball away and they asked the third friend to go bring the ball, after taking ball while he was returning they started running for fun. Suddenly a noise came from above and we realised that it was our third friend, we all got scared and escaped the fire exit and started running towards the next building. There we entered the lift and went above the 9th floor on the terrace and sat there for a while. suddenly another noise came, it was our third friend again, he was coming up. We all started thinking what to do, suddenly we found a piece of cloth and all decided a plan, our third friend came up and we threw the piece of cloth on his face and we all ran away from his side as fast as possible. We ran down through the stairs and entered the lift of the first building again, we first went to 9th floor after that went to 7th floor through the stairs so that our third friend would think that we are on 9th floor. We stayed there for a while and decided to go down so we called the lift and pressed the zero button but I thought that we should first go to 1st floor and check if anyone is down so I pressed the one button but one of another friend said that he could be on 1st floor as he could be thinking that we will go to 1st floor for checking. so 2nd floor would be more safer, so we pressed the two button, when we reached 2nd floor,  we saw that our third friend was just below us on the 1st floor, so we ran back into the lift and pressed the nine button to go to the ninth floor but I had already pressed the one button, so we went down on the 1st floor and our third friend caught us. We didn't realised when this whole thing had became a game, we all had fun. Our third friend also told us that he was not throwing stones on us, instead he was aiming on an another stone. all misunderstandings were cleared and we made a game based on this in which there is a denner or a seeker who counts till hundred and finds others who are hidden all over the society and catches any one of them, whoever gets caught becomes the next denner or seeker. we all were very happy as we found a new game which was a lot of fun.

My dream

  

It was Monday morning when I was waiting for the school bus with my friend. He told me that yesterday when I was absent I was selected for the council member of the class. Council member has many responsibilities. But I always thought that being a council member means being a servant of teachers and the worst enemy of other students. It was like a nightmare for me. The bus came and we both went to the school. In the school they asked me to prepare charts and give a speech. That day became worse as every teacher was testing me. Even in the break mam had given me many works to do after eating my lunch. Even some boys had started criticising me. There was one more like me. Council member was going to be one of us. I was hoping not become a council member. The school was finally over and I went home. After going home unfortunately I had to prepare a chart and a speech. That day I was so tired that I did not went to play and slept at 6 p.m. The next morning I again went to the school and after reaching there I first stuck the chart on the wall of the class room. This day went the same the teachers had started giving more and more work. Next few days also went the same and finally it was the voting time. I had voted for the other boy. The next few days were my lucky ones as the teachers had to cover a lot of portion and no work was given to me. Finally the results came and I was very scared and worried that what would would happen if I became the council member. But the nightmare was gone and I had not became a council member. That was such a relief. But suddenly the alarm clock rang and I woke up and realized that it was all a dream

   

Holi day

It was the Holi day . I was very excited to play with colors,water and water balloons. When I reached the ground everyone was throwing water on me with the help of pichkari , water balloons. I was also throwing water on them with the help of pichkari and water balloon. My brother was throwing water with the help of mug and bucket . Not only the children but the elders were also playing Hol i. They were throwing water with the help of pipes and buckets. we were also putting colors on each other's face . But it was very cold weather . But still we enjoyed it . I am very happy today.

HOLI

After the exam

                                           

It was my English exam.I was studying hard for it .Suddenly I thought that I didn't had any story writting. I was really scared.I didn't know what to do.Next day when the exam started I saw that the story writting had came in the exam.I was frightened and wrote the story writting in my own words.when the exam ended I was worried that it will be correct or not.When I checked it in my friend's book I was shocked to see that all was correct.When I told my mother an father they were also very happy and bought me a gift. But after that I found 1 mistake.It was very sad feeling.But still I think I will get good marks. 
                                                    

A Trip to bhigwan

     

I was very happy because I was going to Bhigwan.I woke up at 5am and we went to see  Bhigwan.We stayed there at kumbhar village.First we had our breakfast and after that we went for boating to see different birds like flamingos,grey herons,black ibis,black head ibis etc.

 

  

In the village there were goats,cats,hens,cocks etc. roaming around.After that we had lunch and finally we returned home.It was a very exciting journey.
